As a professional

I have presented at Early Childhood Education Conferences including the National Head Start Association (NHSA) and participated in several conferences as a guest speaker. My experience of 23 years in the field provides me with the opportunity to practice in different content areas of Early Childhood. One of the areas was Home-Base, in which I supported parents to use their home as a learning environment to provide activities for children of different ages. This experience led me to work with Family Child Care Providers who also provide educational experiences for different ages.

I also supported the local community college to establish toddler’s classrooms. With this project the priority was to create a nurturing and safe environment for children and college students who attended the practicum experience.
